BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT WEBCASTING
We don't own vast server farms, just like we don't own the satellites for the broadcasting of the television shows we produce. Instead, we work with many of the largest streaming media distributors to provide you with the most dependable and cost effective worldwide distribution. This promises you world-class production and encoding at the front end by MTI and the best in distribution. Our approach is as if webcasting is television adapted for the internet. You can have the biggest streaming media servers on the net, but first you have to make all the components of video, audio and graphics work right. That is what we do best, and we have been doing it for over 20 years. Let’s face it, it's still about the audio and video. If your production talents are focused on the computer side, you may find poor audio and video.

BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT VIDEO CONFERENCING
Extend the reach of your meetings through videoconferencing. Connect to one or multiple remote audience locations. Bring remote presenters into your meeting via live two-way video. Videoconferencing enables live, real-time interaction between your host site and the remote sites. Or use videoconferencing to remotely participate in a meeting or event that you would have otherwise missed due to the travel required. MTI leverages state-of-the-art videoconferencing systems and services, such as the Tandberg Tactical MXP and Tandberg 3000 MXP videoconferencing codecs, supporting both ISDN and IP networks. MTI can provide professional video production services as well, or you may use the built-in web-quality camera and microphone if you just need a remote one-on-one video conversation. Event-based services available also include multi-site video bridging and ISDN to IP gateway services. Some information about ports:
- It's best to not be behind a firewall. If a firewall exists, it's better to be in the DMZ if available.
- At a minimum, the following ports must be open to allow VTC traffic through the firewall:
- Port 1719 UDP
- Port 1720 TCP
- Ports 2326-2405 UDP
- Ports 5555-5574 TCP
- Ideal to have a pingable, static IP address.
