Metro Teleproductions, Inc. delivers creative, customized video production and live streaming solutions with rapid turnaround and flexibility. We’re equipped to adapt to meet each client’s unique needs, preferences and budget.
Metro Teleproductions, Inc. understands that in the fast-paced world of video production, things don’t always unfold on a long timeline. Many times, we receive urgent calls from prospective clients who have just heard from their own customers that a project could launch within the next 24–72 hours, and they need quotes immediately. This is a familiar scenario in our industry, and it’s one we are well-equipped to handle.
We recognize that when quotes are requested, the decision-maker is often relying on information from an end client. Our job is to respond quickly, clearly, and fairly. If the request is reasonable, we will always provide a quote, even on challenging turnarounds. Operating in the DMV, one of the most competitive production markets in the United States, we expect the need for collaboration and flexibility in every project. While our directors, videographers, and engineers are booked on full-day rates—standard practice in today’s economy—we look for ways to work with client budgets by offering flexibility elsewhere. That might mean providing a break on equipment costs rather than asking our crew to lower their well-earned rates.
Because we know production is fluid, we adapt as situations evolve. Recently, for example, additional equipment was required on-site after a quote was finalized. Rather than revising the client’s cost mid-project, MTI absorbed the expense. While not ideal for us, it reflects our belief that good business means keeping the client’s trust at every step.
Customization also extends to preparation. Whenever possible, we survey new venues ahead of time to identify load-in/load-out logistics and coordinate with building security—a necessity when working in the Washington, D.C. area. To further reassure clients, MTI provides workman’s comp coverage for our freelance vendors as well as certificates of insurance, which are now increasingly required to bring equipment into secured spaces.
On the live streaming side, client preferences continue to shape the way we deliver. As more organizations gravitate toward YouTube’s platform for its built-in captioning services, we maintain strong partnerships with vendors that can provide both open and closed captioning for livestreams. For edited productions, our in-house editor, Bill Parks, manages captioning needs. This includes translations into foreign languages when necessary.
At MTI, our commitment is simple: adapt to job and client demands in real time. We understand that every client has budgetary and logistical constraints, and we strive to deliver creative, reliable solutions that honor those boundaries. Our clients know they can rely on us not just as vendors, but as partners who invest in their success.
