A full house at The Camel in Richmond last Saturday night (3/2/13) gave an enthusiastic reception to “The Bayou: DC’s Killer Joint”. Filmmakers Bill Scanlan, Vinnie Perrone and Dave Nuttycombe took to the stage after for a short round of Q&A. As other RIFF filmmakers arrived at the club, the highlight of the post-film party was a set of great acoustic music led off by Richmond’s own (yes he’s in the film) Robbin Thompson.

MANY thanks from all of us to the folks at The Camel, our Richmond fans and to Film Fesitval Director, Heather Waters for her invitation, enthusiasm for the film and her general southern graciousness and charm. It could not have been a better night.

AND thanks to Richmond Magazine for the pre-screening post & link!
