MTI Helps the Quincy Institute Produce an Important Message
Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft
The Quincy Institute's Dr. Mark Episkopos interviews His Excellency Narek Mkrtchyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America.
The Quincy Institute is a D.C.-based think tank dedicated to promoting responsible statecraft in service to the goal of a peaceful world. They contacted MTI for help with producing a video for YouTube. The project was a one-on-one discussion with Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia His Excellency Narek Mkrtchyan and the Institutes’ Dr. Mark Epidkopos, research fellow in the Eurasia Program.
The timely topic was “The Future of the US-Armenia Relationship,” and the hour-long production took place at the organizations offices with a live audience. This event was part of the In Between States Initiative series.
A Peaceful Easy Feeling When Everything Goes Right
The two-person crew included cameraman Todd Burger with Rob Sanchez on audio. The dependable 4K Sony FS7 camera was used with a Behringer soundboard and wireless lavalier microphones.
While the finished product looks simple, all video productions require careful planning and setup. Lights, microphones, cameras, and audio gear must be placed exactly for the best outcomes. Here is the completed video on YouTube:
