The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has nominated “The Bayou: DC’s Killer Joint” for a 2013 Emmy Award in the Category of Best Documentary – Historical!
The awards ceremony will be held Saturday, June 14 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD.

“The Bayou”, which debuted on Maryland Public TV in February, 2013, has played on some four dozen public TV stations across the country – including DC outlets WETA and WHUR.
