Metro Teleproductions Inc provided a camera crew for MSG network for the New York Islanders contest against the Washington Capitals at the Capital One arena. The video crew featured ENG interviews used in the MSG broadcast

 The game featured the return of ex Capitals coach Barry Trotz in his first game back at Capital One. Trotz of course coached the Washington Capitals to their first Stanley Cup Championship in the teams 43 year existence. After the season Trotz left the Capitals and was signed by Lou Lamoriello to become the new coach of the Islanders.

Tony Winthrop provided video production for MSG which included an Sony XD camera and wireless hand held microphone. 

Tony covered the pregame skate at Capital One which included interviews with New York Islander players as they were coming off the ice after practice as well as in the locker room. A camera light is used on the camera for enhanced video.

Barry Trotz back in DC for the 1st time after winning Stanley Cup

 The interviews were used in the 30 minute pregame that is aired on the MSG network After the game Tony and the MSG reporter Shannon Hogan covered the victorious Islander locker room after the 2-0 victory.  The interviews are done and then run back to the truck for immediate playback in the post game broadcast on MSG.  Normally the Trotz interview is run in its entirety, while selected portions of the players interviews are aired.  The telecast was produced by Jim Gallagher and directed by Joel Mandelbaum. MSG produces the Islanders, Devils and Rangers on the MSG network in the tri city area.
