Metro Teleproductions was honored to be chosen by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, to produce a series of PSAs based on CDC guidelines urging people to get the Covid-19 vaccination.
The Power of Three
The three person production team covered three separate locations for shoots that featured three different sports all-stars. Cameraman Ben Wong, producer Kia Baskerville, and soundperson Ani Wong traveled to the homes of Hall of Famer Darrell Green, ESPN reporter Lisa Salters, and the Capitol Heights, Md., offices of UNC Chapel Hill star basketball player and businesswoman Iman McFarland. Three versions of the video spots were produced: 15 second, 30 second, and 60 second.
Hall of Fame Equipment
Videographer Ben used the legendary Sony FS Mark II camera to clearly capture the moments. Here we see how a simple setup is all that is required to get great visuals. The videos were edited by the Hall of Fame.
Praise for a Job Well Done
Said Eric Welshenbaugh, Executive Producer, HOF Productions, for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, “The videos you helped us with turned out great,” adding that the spots are starting to air nationally and on social media. Below are the 60-second versions of the finished spots.
