MTI returns to New Jersey for another hall of fame event

MTI was delighted to offer production services for returning client the New Jersey Hall of Fame last November. Metro Teleproductions, Inc. served as the primary production company for the 2025 ceremony, held at the American Dream Mall complex in the Meadowlands.

All of the equipment had to be brought in and, as MTI president Dave Lilling says, there were “lots of moving parts.” MTI was responsible for hiring the following:

* Staging company All Access, Inc.
* Lighting company Gatto Lighting (Jim Ferrara)
* Communications company Law Sound & Lighting
* Video Projection and Screen company MB Video
* Screen Support company SeeFactor
* Audio company Asbury Audio

Making all the pieces fit

This was a star-studded event–both the outgoing and incoming governors and Senator Corey Booker were in attendance–so everything had to be done right and on time.

Load-in started on a Tuesday night, setup and testing on Wednesday, rehearsal Thursday, and a Friday night show. The load-in supervisor was Kevin White, Show Director was George Veras, Technical Manager was Paul Tarter, and Associate Producer was Rich Gaughan.

Hosted by New Jersey legend Danny DeVito, there were 17 inductees, including the Jonas Brothers, the Isley Brothers, keyboardist David Bryan of the band Bon Jovi, CNN chief political correspondent Dana Bash, and former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon. As well as an Unsung Hero award to Dorothea Bongiovi, founder of the JBJ Soul Kitchen with her husband Jon Bon Jovi.

Produce, Repeat, Produce

MTI always appreciates repeat clients. And as the above demonstrates, we are always prepared for the biggest or smallest productions, down to the last detail.
