Metro Teleproductions was once again asked by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency (NOAA) to provide livestreaming services for an awards ceremony honoring the accomplishments and contributions of its employees. The event was held at the Silver Spring, Md., headquarters and was an all-hands meeting with hundreds of staffers in the auditorium and thousands more watching the livestream remotely. Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA Administrator Neil Jacobs, Deputy Under Secretary for Operations Del Brockett, and Deputy Under Secretary for Oceans and Atmosphere and Acting NOAA Chief of Staff Laura Grimm, among others, hosted and spoke at the event.

Once a Team Member, Always a Team Member
This was something of a homecoming for MTI as well, as one of the company’s original contributors, cameraman Bob Young, was in town and available to lend a hand to the production. Bob’s son Patrick has often worked on MTI jobs, as well.
The full crew was director John Bogley, videographers Bob Young and John O’Brien on the Sony cameras, and Greg Fabic handling two robo-cameras for full coverage of the large room. MTI founder Dave Lilling was also on hand to supervise for this returning client. Photographer Leigh Mosely covered the event as well. Lighting featured SmallRig RC450B COB LED video lights and three Aputure 200x Bi-Color LED Lights with fresnels, and the crew utilized the house audio feed.
The Value of Returning Clients
Having return clients always makes for a satisfying job and MTI is always grateful for those assignments. It also makes us extra focused to make sure that everything goes right. Successful productions are the result of careful planning and precise execution, which is what we have striven for all these years.
