Interview Video Production for the Association of Defense Communities
MTI was hired by Washington, D.C. public relations firm LRG to produce an interview video for the Association of Defense Communities, an organization that works to build support for America’s military. The main subject of the video was Mary Jane Jernigan, who was named by ADC as its 2023-2024 Defense Community Champion. Ms. Jernigan is a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, Maryland state president of the Association of the U.S. Army, and president of the Freestate ChalleNGe Academy Foundation.

Interviews with Defense Community
Despite a one-day video shoot, multiple interviews were conducted in several locations.
One-Day Shoot, Multiple Setups
The job was a one-day shoot, which involved setting up for three interviews, as well as capturing B-roll. Videographer John Murphy used the Sony FX6 camera, wireless mics, and Aputure lights for the filming. The client edited the footage for screening at its Defense Communities National Summit event in Arlington, Va.
“The shoot went great,” said LRG’s Isabel Zimmerman. It’s always nice to hear that the client is happy with the work.
