MTI was hired by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation to produce five video interviews for its Coolidge Scholars Program. The full-day production included two interviews with students who won scholarships, an interview with a parent of a winning student, and two interviews with Coolidge scholars who administer the program. The Coolidge Foundation, based in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, was created in 1960 in honor of the thirtieth president. It awards full-ride, four-year scholarships annually to high-achieving students who also demonstrate a strong interest in public policy. The video interviews took place at the Coolidge House in Washington, D.C.

Extra Hands Make Light Work

This was a two-camera video production, using a pair of Canon C 300 MII cameras, with Aputure lights and light panels. The production budget allowed for a three-person crew, which included Jamie Sides as director of photography, Shawn Chadwick on audio, and Greg Fabic as gaffer. While producing a seated interview might appear to be simple, quality is amplified with the right crew, ensuring the best possible result throughout the production process.
