Metro Teleproductions has been livestreaming since 1998 (1998!). So when the United States Commission On International Religious Freedom needed to broadcast a Congressional briefing on the important issue of the persecution of religious minorities — both Muslims and Christians — in India, MTI’s 40 years of experience was the right choice to get the word out.

There were five in-person speakers for the live press conference segment and five pre-recorded speakers, including two members of Congress. The event was then opened up to include remote messages that did not make the live presser. Everything was streamed to four different Facebook pages: the Indian American Muslim Council, Hindus for Human Rights, Justice For All, and Media Vigil.

The fact that all MTI production crew and staff are fully vaccinated and follow all COVID-19 protocols helped make the day go smoothly.
