MTI was again hired by Rock Creek Productions to provide video production services for the inaugural Engage Government 2022 event put on by Maxar, the leading space technology and intelligence company. Drawing on experts from government, military, and technology spheres, the event focused on exploring capabilities and requirements, as well as challenges in what they termed “this burgeoning era of Great Power Competition.”

The day-long event was held at the Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, Va., and the job called for three cameras. One camera focused fully on the podium, while the other cameras provided a two-shot and a three-shot of the speakers.

MTI's crew delivered full coverage of the day-long event.

The crew included videographers Jamie Sides and John O’Brien, media manager Shawn Chadwick, and photographer Patrick Young. The equipment was the reliable Panasonic AGDVX 200 camera and Aputure lights. The Hyatt supplied the audio. As usual, all MTI staff and crew are fully vaccinated and follow all Covid safety protocols.

While the speakers explored the vastness of the cosmos, MTI’s down-to-Earth approach to production helped make the job a success.
