Hybrid productions are becoming a norm for organizations putting on events, because now if customers can’t be at a certain location that doesn’t mean they have to miss out. MTI was delighted to again be asked to provide livestreaming and production support to Fasano Associates for its 19th Annual Fasano Longevity Conference. MTI produced last year’s all-day event, which focuses on life insurance settlements, longevity research, and investments. As with that event, attendees were both in-person and virtual.
To ensure that the production went smoothly, the crew was in place on Friday to set up for the all-day Monday event. Ben Wong was the technical and streaming director and Jamie Sides was the camera operator.

The event was streamed using the CVENT platform, which offers both hosts and attendees easy options for connecting. Key equipment used to facilitate the production included the BlackMagic ATEM 2 Switcher, an Apple MacBook for streaming, the Sony FS7 Mark II video camera, a RoboCam, Behringer audio board, and Aputure lighting.
