MTI worked with Director Tim Philips of Rock Creek Productions to produce a webcast of the Interdisciplinary Computing Research Symposium at George Mason University. The full day event brought together faculty from across the university’s School of Computing and Institute for Digital Innovation to share research around four areas: Healthy Planet, Healthy People, Healthy Economy, and Healthy Society. A goal of the symposium is to help create new opportunities to solve significant national and global problems.

Faculty from across George Mason's campus came together to share ideas on this webcast.

The production was a one-camera shoot of the steady flow of presenters, each backed by Powerpoint slides explaining their work. John Bogley was the live-streaming director and Greg Fabic was the videographer. The camera was the Panasonic AGDVX 200; Aperture 200x lights illuminated the stage. All MTI production crew and staff are fully vaccinated and follow all COVID-19 protocols.

The results may be viewed on the university’s Youtube page here.
