Using Up-to-Date Audio Technology For Great Sounding Productions
The Behringer X32 audio mixer provides a lot of production options in a compact form.
MTI has upgraded its audio capabilities with the new Behringer X32 console. A key reason for this addition is that many productions are now “hybrid events,” with some of the audience in person at the location and others participating over Zoom or other services. Such productions often require a “mix-minus,” which is an audio mix where the person speaking from a remote location can hear the sound from the event, but not their own sound. Echo and feedback could result from an improper mix in such cases.

Last but not least, it’s wonderful to have an automixer built into the X32. Automixers make mixing panel discussions much more manageable by balancing the levels of the different participants automatically. As someone who has mixed many of these types of shows, I can tell you that an automixer creates a smoother, more dynamically balanced show by making volume adjustments faster than a human being can. This also has the effect of reducing the risk of feedback. For these reasons and many more, I wholeheartedly recommend the Behringer X32 mixing console.”
