MTI Provides Video Services For Wounded Warriors
WWFS Program Outreach Coordinator Martin Duarte presents a 2022 Ford F-150 veteran JD Williams.
MTI was contacted by Wounded Warriors Family Support, an independent nonprofit organization that provides assistance for the families of veterans who have been killed or injured in combat. The group launched the program “Mobility is Freedom” to provide grants and modified vehicles for combat-wounded veterans. MTI’s task was to record the presentation of a new, extensively modified Ford F-150 truck to triple-amputee Jack Daniel “JD” Williams. Williams served six years of active duty, including two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he was injured by an improvised explosive device. WWFS Program Outreach Coordinator Martin Duarte presented the vehicle to Williams.
Williams started his own organization, Mohawk Outdoors, dedicated to helping veterans heal through exposure to nature, specifically with hunting, fishing, and camping activities. He spoke about how mobility was an important issue for him and how the new vehicle would help him with his mission.

The shoot took place at the Driver Rehabilitation Center Of Excellence in Chantilly, Va., which is dedicated to providing custom mobility options to those in need of specialized transportation.
