Longtime client Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) once again hired MTI to produce its 25th annual Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards show. The show celebrates the financial officers who navigated and persevered during the difficult pandemic.

And because of Covid, the 2021 show was virtual. So MTI was tasked with putting together a 30-minute program, which aired over Airmeet on Wednesday, Sept. 22. (The same show will be posted on the NTVC website.)

The job consisted of producing several parts over two days: The introduction of the sponsors, client commercials, video profiles of the five Rising Stars of the industry, and six video interviews with the award-winning CFOs. The interviews were shot at the offices of Ernst and Young in Tysons Corner, Va. All of the subjects read prepared remarks off the TelePrompter.

Some of the program was recorded on Zoom and sent to editor Bill Parks, who assembled the show over four days.

John Murphy was the cameraman for two of the interviews. Jamie Sides was the videographer and Dave Lilling the director for the remaining segments.

Equipment used was the Canon C300 Mark II camera, boom microphones, lights, and TelePrompter.

All MTI crew and staff are fully vaccinated and follow all Covid protocols.
